Guide to Young Writers: Top Ten List

Ten Things to make sure you do if you are a young writer:
1. read.
2. pay attention to details
3. observe people
4. read
5. ask why. Often
6. doodle. You never know what you might see in a doodle
7. daydream
8. going along with number 7, master the art of not paying attention in class. Especially if you have a teacher that gives participation points to people who are "paying attention"
9. of course, read
And, the most important thing:
10. WRITE. How are supposed to be a writer if you don't write anything?
