Too much excitement

My school has had WAY too much excitement for one week.
Monday: There was a letter sent home, and phone calls about an attempted kidnapping. And, my school was on the news when they talked about the budget problems.
Tuesday: We got a new clarinet player in band.
Wednesday: nothing really happened
Thursday: we find out the attmepted kidnapping was fake, a girl lied about it, and is now facing criminal charges.
Friday: When walking up to band after 3rd period, I am told to get off this one pathway, that can double as a road. So, I go to the newly reopended band geek trail and expect to see a delivery truck. I end up seeing an ambulance and a firetruck going by. I later find out that during PE that last period, they were palying new York Style kickball. A kid that I know from church was kit in the head with a ball after someone kicked it really hard. His head reportedly went back, and his eyes rolled around in his head. Then, during math, I'm taking this really complicated fraction test. All of a sudden the fire alarm goes off. We walk outside (we had a sub), and discover that a nearby science teacher had finally created green fire, and it had set off the smoke alarm. My entire class starts appluading. Then we have to go line up like we do in fire drills, only we talked the entire time. my friends and I played around with a Rubik's cube and made jokes about the fire department taking so long to get to school. (we deciced that they were eating lunch, a siren went off, they looked at and said "Oh, we've already been there today. We can wait.")
And, then at the battle of the books meeting, my team was really spazzy. It was hilarious.

  1. Yeah, nothing ever happens at our school. We're boring, what can I say?
